Datacore Joins the Fight to Take on Childhood Hunger.–
Datacore Consulting, a premier Managed Service Provider, is putting its
employees up to a challenge to help feed underpriviliged children in the US.
Datacore’s Senior Partner, Jim Conley, a father of two; wanted a way to reward
his employees for their accomplishments in the company, but also wanted to help
those that couldn’t quite help themselves. After careful consideration, Jim
decided to sponsor a child from US Feed the Children for twelve months for every
new client that Datacore receives. Every employee that brings in a new client
will receive a photo of the child they are helping, along with bios and letters
throughout the year. Datacore will place the photos and letters on a centralized
board in their office to remind their workers of the innocent children that they
are helping.
“The US has the highest child poverty rate of any other industrialized nation in
the world.” States Frontline Report; Feed the Children’s monthly newsletter. The
newsletter also goes on to state that out of the 35.1 million Americans who
experienced hunger in 2005, 12.4 million were children. Not only will Datacore
be creating a friendly competition amongst its employees, but the company as a
whole will be working towards solving our country’s childhood hunger epidemic.
Datacore will also keep a journal of our progress in the fight against childhood
hunger on our website, so the public may view our progress. If you are
interested in finding out more about these unfortunate children and their food
shortage problems, or how you can help, please visit www.datacoreonline.com.
